Who But Us?

There are still people trolling us, even now. The new goal is to wear us down, like nagging mothers. And the volume is only going to go up.

Tune it out. remember all the important things on Bernie's platform. Remember Bernie - no one thought he had a ghost of a chance in the beginning. Same now with Jill. Maybe too many people HAVE fallen away, but who will tell us the truth of that? I think, if we vote as a block, we win. Together with the many independents who were not allowed a voice in the primaries... We are the big block if we vote that way.

Does the climate still warm? Look at the unrest that has brought on in the middle east and from there much of the world. And this is just the start. When Global warming really gets cooking you will wish you had a hobbit-hole, safe from the super tornadoes and hurricanes and unbearable heat. And all the displaced people... coastal people, people from the tropics, people from war torn lands. Lots of us are going to wish for Trumps wall soon enough - though I would rather we share open heartedly.

And will Hillary do anything to stop this? I don't believe so.

And what about our incarcerated citizens? 15% of the folks rotting in jail, making "Made in America" products for sweatshop pennies, are innocent, poor folk. Who will stand up for them if not us?

What about the kids crushed with school debt? And the kids trapped in low wage jobs because they don't want the debt?

TPP? Skyrocketing health costs? Mandatory health insurance?Living wages?

Does anyone believe Hillary will address income inequality? Make her pals pay even a bit more?

Do black lives not matter now? Last time she spoke freely about black communities she spouted 'super predator' rhetoric. She is a dominatrix and force of one sort or another is her m.o.

And what about peace? Bernie may have been beaten (figuratively or literally) into submission, but they can't beat all of us. Hillary the war hawk will not give us peace.

I know it is easier to forgive and forget, and it even seems a little noble, until you remember all the important issues that need change NOW.

Hey guys, are you sheeple?

This email was from DNC deputy communications director Eric Walker, addressed to DNC state staffers: “If the NY DNC and Iowa DNC ensures Hillary wins both states, it won’t matter in the long run even if Bernie supporters see ballot boxes stuffed before their eyes. Bernie bots have the attention span of a snail, and the memory of a small child. By November they’ll forget what was done and vote for Hillary like the sheeple they are.”

And how exactly was the DNC going to "ensure" Hillary won NY and Iowa?

We know the DNC colluded with state democratic parties on funding (read: money laundering). We know how badly the Nevada state Dems behaved. And in State after state we saw hindrances in the voting process, or counting, or some technicality that favored Hillary over Bernie, usually by just enough to not look too suspicious. Was there any state where the vote went smoothly? I don't know of any. Maybe in the beginning, or a small state, or a known Hillary-state.

So yeah, I believed the vote was rigged, and then the wikileaks news confirmed that. What I don't understand is why my progressive media outlets are not all over this. TYT? The Ring of Fire Network? Are you guys so financially comfortable that you don't realize how Bernie supporters scraped the bottoms of their wallets to finance his campaign? People who didn't have the money to give, found a way to give anyway. People phone banked away hours of their lives. People pleaded with their state Democratic parties to be fair, to give our movement a chance. We poured our hearts and souls into this campaign, and now know it was futile from the start.

And why did they do this? Because Bernie could have won. They stole that from us, our children, the planet, and Bernie.

If the DNC had honestly said, sorry guys, we think you are a bunch of losers and we want some of that corporate honey, we could have planned accordingly. Guess that would have been strategically unwise.

For all these reasons I carry a deep resentment toward the DNC and all the state dems who conspired with them.

I am not a peaceful person. Perhaps my folks house had lead paint. Perhaps I never accepted that thing the Debbie Downers of the world like to clobber kids with: "life isn't fair". Perhaps ego... spoiled. I just am not a person who, when slapped immediately turns the other cheek. I think certain behavior is so outrageous that it warrants anger, and maybe a slap back.

If  it is just me effected I can usually shrug off an injustice. But mess with my kids, my family, or any downtrodden person or group and I want justice. So I am not a complete asshole. Why do people who have so many of life's blessings hoarded away in their many mansions find it necessary to keep taking more. Why do they have to take more and more, from the peace loving people who are satisfied with life's few simple pleasures? A walk in the woods. A day at the beach. A beer with friends. Enough is never enough for these people, these 1%ers, because they are driven by ego, and everyone of them wants to be number one. World Empress/Emperor over a world full of miserable slaves. That might vindicate their ego, or not.

Now these creep insist I MUST vote for Hillary. HAH! You must be crazy. Hillary, and the whole lot of her bitch cronies can go fuck themselves.

So, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will finally be stepping down as DNC chair, and stepping into the arms of the Clinton machine. Her mission accomplished, now a reward. Well good. DWS has been an albatross around the neck of the DNC for far too long. Some would even say she has destroyed the party. Let her be Hillary's albatross now. Maybe she will bring down that beastie. I can hope.

But there is so much more to be read from this, without even doing much speculating.

For starters, Hillary is once again sending the worst message possible by rescuing DWS.

Millions of people sent money to the Sanders campaign. Millions of $$. Money they might have sent to Jill Stein, whose platform is virtually identical to Bernie's. Money they/I certainly could have used better if I/we had known Hillary was the inevitable choice, and Bernie never had a chance. Millions of voters were disenfranchised by Debbie and her minions at the DNC. And many will never forgive, and never forget this arrogant trampling of their rights, their voice in the running of the country. The Democratic party is finished, unless there are  lots of moderate republicans out there who might jump ship because of Trump.

The leaked emails also show the down and dirty tactics they were willing to employ against Bernie Sanders; the characaturization of latinos by DNC message spinners; the support of Union busters. And, weirdly, show them sending money to Trump and his family... WTF???

All these things make a picture of a party moving right, just as Hillary's red arrow showed all us along. They are abandoning the coalition of working class people, feminists, and minorities that made the party great once. Not a perfect party, but fighting the good fight. No more.

It's as if they don't realize how many of us there are.

It's as if they think they are untouchable.

The message Hillary is sending by rescuing DWS is not the message she thinks we will get. She thinks we will see mama bear rescuing poor, little, picked-on Debbie. We will see this because we are dumb, "sheeple" they called us. Her real message is to her class of folks. She thinks they are the only one's bright enough to see her message: I take care of the people who do me favors.

And she does, to a point no doubt. I also don't doubt she would toss Deb under the bus to save her own butt, if circumstances demanded. Actually, this circumstance sort of demands it. And Hillary doesn't see that. What DWS did was serious. In a just world she would be doing jail time for this, and she still might. But Hillary, in her arrogance, thinks the crime was so piddling an offense that it doesn't compromise her own morality to champion Debbie.

The other alternative is that DWS has something on Hillary, and a little blackmail is involved. Something like... Hillary was at the top of this whole DNC scandal? Hillary didn't really beat Bernie Sanders - the vote was 'adjusted'? We may never know, but smart people can guess. And, my guess is it was a little of all this, Hillary's arrogance. Hillary's off beat moral compass, and Hillary's culpability.

Well... we should all have gone green from the first hint of global warming I guess. That would have been a sensible response. So now is a good time to remedy that error.

Well. The weather is hot. A spider made a web in my front doorway last night. And my garden needs weeding badly, but I am not yet well enough to manage that - sciatica :P  Looking forward to a Kefir shake for breakfast, and identifying the new weed I found in my back yard yesterday. Have a nice one.
